Interested in cutting edge quantitative analysis and financial modeling?
Do you have a good grasp of quantitative finance, statistics, data mining, spectrum analysis or neural nets? If so, you may be the right person to intern for AI Investing. We are now accepting interns with strong academic records and a solid mix of quantitative skills. You will be right in the thick of it, performing analysis and developing trading systems that risk real money. Come prepared for a lot of real-world experience.

AI Investing is preparing to launch a hedge fund. We are currently honing our analytical tools to deal with much larger portfolios. You will be in on the ground floor of a highly sophisticated wealth management organization.

You may be involved in the following tasks:

• Develop and improve current proprietary trading systems. You will be using a variety of approaches including neural nets, spectrum analysis, fuzzy logic and candlesticks combined with more traditional approaches.
• Perform data mining and statistical analysis on stock, commodity and currency markets to find potential trading opportunities. Identify patterns for individual instruments as well as inter-market relationships.
• Analyze potential improvements to money management and risk management approaches for current trading systems. Explore impact of different entry/exit techniques, position sizing, stops and profit targets.
• Develop adaptive portfolio management tools based on various methodologies for portfolio analysis and optimization. Modern and Post-Modern Portfolio Theory are the starting points but be prepared to work on creative new methods for portfolio management.
  

The following software skills are not required but your proficiency with these tools will determine your level of involvement in the activities described above:

• YALE, WEKA and SQL Server data mining applications
• TradeStation and Neuroshell Trader Professional
• SQL Server Integration Services
• R and/or SPSS
• SQL
• C++ , Visual Basic and VBA
